The audience for the instrument is K-12 mathematics teachers. It solicits information regarding their opinions, their preparation, and their teacher practice. The questionnaire was developed and administered to a nationally representative sample of mathematics teachers as part of the 2000 National Survey of Science and Mathematics Education.
